Once people found out that the plague was airborne they fled cities. They would social distance and burn incense to purify the air. Though leaving the infected cities seemed like a good idea at the time it wasn’t. It took 2 to 8 days to realize you had the plague. This is how the plague kept spreading.
By the time most people found out that they had the plague it was already too late to social distance yourself, because the disease would have already spread to people you talked to. Some symptoms of the plague were fever and chills, body aches, weakness, lung infection, and discoloration. These aren’t even half of the symptoms. The plague was able to spread quickly due to the fact that they were very unhygienic. They were so unhygienic there was rotting food on the streets and some would even poop out of their windows which attracted more rats and fleas.
The black plague still exists till this day! Though it’s not as severe or as serious since we have the right medicine to treat it. Covid-19 is similar to the black death. Around 36 million people died during covid. Just like the black plague, people had to social distance because it was airborne.
And like the black plague covid-19 was also able to transfer to animals. But when most people were socially distancing themselves in their house nobody was littering. This made the streets and oceans clean and less polluted. The animals came out more and The black death was a very serious disease. The black plague was also known as the bubonic plague. The bubonic plague was in Europe which started in the year 1346 and ended in the year 1353. This was one of the most fatal pandemics in human history. There were 75 to 200 million deaths that happened during this pandemic.
Almost 30% to 60% of Europe’s population died from this pandemic. The black plague originated from Central Asia. The black plague ended up in Europe due to infected rats and fleas entering onto the ship which was used to travel for trade. This plague spread to people due to the infected rats and fleas biting people, which transferred the plague to the person who was bit. This disease quickly spread and soon became airborne. It got transferred from even the slightest cough or sneeze.
