Homemade or Store Bought?
Have you ever wondered what tastes better, home made or store bought cake pops?We did too, so we decided to put it to the test to see which kind of cake pop people preferred.
Siobahn made the homemade cake pops from scratch, while Addison made cake pops with store bought batter. To see which cake pop tasted better, Addison and Siobahn made a batch of 10 cake pops each. Siobahn made her cake pops with 2 cups of flour, 3 eggs, 1 cup of milk, Red velvet mixture, white frosting, accompanied with red and grey sprinkles. The sprinkles made the cake pops stand out and the color coordination was top tier.
Addison made her cake pops with store bought cake batter, 3 eggs, ½ a cup of Extra olive oil and 1 cup of water. She preheated the oven at 350 degrees and baked the cake mix for 28 minutes. Once the cake pops came out of the oven Addison put vanilla flavored chocolate on top of the cake pops. She also put rainbow colored sprinkles around the top of the cake pop which really complemented the flavors and colors of the cake pop. Addison and Siobahn brought the cake pops to school so that some students and teachers could try their cake pops. They had 5 teachers and 5 students who tried the cake pops.
In conclusion it came out to be a tie. They were both considered great tasting cake pops. This was a fun project! If you would like to read more like this give us some ideas and we will consider doing them.
