On Apr 9 2026 Riverside Prep headed to CIMS for an exciting away soccer game. RP and CIMS both came prepared for an exciting duel. Both teams got ready before the game. As the game nearly began RP was ready, and so was CIMS. How will this game end?

Once the game started, both teams started strong, going back and forth without scoring a goal. There were many close calls and very close shots. CIMS kept on dominating most of the first half even though they didn’t score. Eventually, around the fifteenth minute, CIMS broke through the defence and scored the first goal of the game. After this it stayed one to zero, and it would stay like that until the end of the first half. 

Both teams took half time to regroup and strategize how to move up and score. They took a few minutes and eventually, Half time was over. Both teams jogged back onto the field ready to start the second half. Once both teams were ready, the referee blew the whistle and the second half had begun. 

Both teams started off strong and pushed back and forth around the pitch. There were many close calls but no one could get through to score a goal. There was no scoring in the second half and as the final minutes began CIMS kept the lead and the final whistle blew. That was the end of the game, RP lost to CIMS 1-0. This loss doesn’t affect the team as they will continue to push through the rest of the season.
