Meet Mrs. Veronica, one of our office workers at Riverside Preparatory Middle School. She brings happiness and kindness to our campus every day. Before working in the office, she worked as an FES for two years. This year will be Mrs. Veronica’s third year as an office worker. One of her personal goals is working toward a healthy fitness journey.
Before her career as an office worker, she wanted to be a teacher. However, she decided to work in the office because she “enjoys doing a little bit of everything.” She has two kids, one boy and one girl. She also has two girl dogs named Lacy and Chloe. Outside of school, she enjoys hiking, organizing, and eating. Like many people, she also likes eating carne asada, which means “roast meat.” Her favorite restaurants are Raising Cane’s and Jack in the Box.
She enjoys watching the movie Great Expectations and reality TV. Mrs. Veronica’s most memorable middle school memory is when she won a free turkey for Thanksgiving. At home, she likes watching sports, especially football. One of her biggest pet peeves is seeing dirty counters. If Mrs. Veronica could travel anywhere in the world, she said she would go to Italy to experience wine, pasta, and bread. If she did not work in the office, she said she might be working at Amazon.
Mrs. Veronica is an important part of our school community. She works hard every day in the office and is always helping staff and students. She is a very kind and caring person who treats people nicely and shows that she cares about others. That is something that makes her special, and people enjoy being around her because of that.
