When Shohei Ohtani got traded to the Dodgers, he said in his post on LAtimes, “First of all, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone involved with the Angels organization and the fans who have supported me over the past six years, as well as to everyone involved with each team that was part of this negotiation process.” He also talks about how thoughtful all the Angels fans were to him and the fans who supported him through all the ups and downs. He said he misses them but he could possibly see them later in the season since so many have become Dodgers fans.
