According to ABC news the 3 fires have been going for more than 3 or 4 weeks, the fire department is saying they do not know how to take it out. A lot of people lost their homes in the fire. The LA fire department is saying that a car engine idling over dry grass and it ignited a fire. That is what ABC news is saying that caused the LA fire.
The Los Angeles fire department are saying more than 26 people lost their lives in the fire.
The fire destroyed about 5,000 homes. A lot of people were affected at one point there were close to 200,000 people under evacuation. The fire has spread more than 23,448 acres in the past 2 or 3 weeks. And the fire was delayed: 2 to 3 concerts and more than 2,500 firefighters were trying to put out the fire. According to the Los Angeles fire department 5 firefighters died in the fire.
